Blossom’s Silent Book Club is a welcoming and inclusive space for young people aged 11–16 to relax, switch off and enjoy the simple joy of reading. Held every fortnight at Blossom in Princes Quay, Hull, the club encourages young readers to bring a book they love, discover new stories and spend time in a calm, supportive environment focused on wellbeing and mindfulness.
Created in collaboration with The Silent Book Club, these free sessions are designed to help young people take a break from screens, social pressures and busy schedules, offering a quiet space where reading and connection come first. Whether attending alone or with friends, everyone is welcome — there’s no pressure, no assigned reading and no expectations, just time to unwind with a good book.
The club takes place every other Saturday at 11am at Blossom, Floor 3, Princes Quay, Hull. Entry is completely free, making it an accessible and positive community activity for young readers across the city.
